The Dunn's Corners Fire Department will be hosting a car wash at their Station 1 to support the American Lung Association's Fight For Air Climb on Saturday June 8 from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. All proceeds will benefit the Fight For Air Climb. DCFD firefighters have participated for a number of years in the annual climb event in Providence.

According to the Association "The Fight For Air Climb is one of the American Lung Association's signature fundraising events. These unique events are hosted in prominent skyscrapers across the nation and challenge participants as they walk, run or race up hundreds of stairs. The funds we raise support research, education and patient programs to help the millions of Americans impacted by asthma, COPD, lung cancer, air pollution and other lung diseases. "
